1. Pre-Session Planning
After you book your experience date, we begin preparing every detail to ensure your session is effortless and empowering. You’ll receive a personalized welcome email, which includes your invitation to schedule your wardrobe planning call — part of our guided process to help you feel confident and prepared.
We will plan your wardrobe and important details so you arrive feeling confident, prepared, and excited to fully step into your experience.
On your session day, professional hair and makeup styling is available as an optional upgrade to enhance your natural beauty and elevate your confidence. This pampering experience is designed to make you feel radiant, polished, and ready to fully enjoy every moment in front of the camera. It also helps you feel fully camera-ready, so you can relax and focus on enjoying your experience rather than worrying about styling details.
2. Hair & Makeup Glam
Once your session begins, you’ll never wonder what to do — every pose, gesture, and expression is guided by your expert photographer.
The lighting, atmosphere, and coaching are all designed to capture your elegance, confidence, and unique story naturally.

After your session, you’ll experience your portraits in a private, cinematic setting. Here, you choose the images, collections, or artwork that truly speak to you. Your final investment is decided at the Reveal, allowing you to focus on enjoying the session itself without pressure or distraction.

Wardrobe & Accessories: Bring pieces that make you feel radiant and reflect your personality. Less stress, more authenticity. We also provide high heels (sizes 5.5–11), jewelry, glamour robes, and other accessories to complete your looks.
Do I need to bring multiple outfits? We recommend 2–3 outfits to start, but we guide you on exactly what works best for your session.
What if I’m unsure about my wardrobe choices? Don’t worry — your wardrobe planning call and our guidance will make it effortless.

Guests & Privacy: Your session is designed to be a private, intimate experience. You are welcome to come solo, or you may have one guest wait in our waiting room while you enjoy your session. Children are not permitted at any time.
Can more than one guest attend? To preserve privacy and focus, we allow only one guest in the waiting room.
Confidence Prep: First-timer? No problem. Every client is guided with care and encouragement from start to finish.
Do I need to know how to pose? Absolutely not — every pose, gesture, and expression is guided.
Who will be in the studio with me? Just the photographer — no assistants, no extra staff.

When you book your session, you’ll select your experience type — La Petite Muse, La Séduction, or La Reine — to reserve your date and guarantee your private Gallery Reveal.
Black Feather Boudoir isn’t high-volume — we are high-touch. Every shoot is crafted with soul, intention, and artistry. We only accept a limited number of sessions per month. Once dates are filled, they’re gone. No waitlist. No rush orders. No compromises.
Your final investment in images, collections, and artwork is decided during your private Reveal, typically about one week after your photoshoot.
Artwork and collections begin at $595. Many clients choose to invest in custom-designed albums and fine art pieces to preserve their experience in a meaningful, lasting way.
Your session fee secures your date, covers your photoshoot, all pre-session planning and wardrobe guidance, and includes your private Gallery Reveal appointment one week after your photoshoot. The booking fee is separate from your investment in artwork and collections. Flexible payment plans are available for collections and artwork to help you create the experience you love.
Do I need to decide what to purchase before my session?
No — all selections are made during your private Gallery Reveal, where you’ll be guided through your images and options based on what you love most.When will I see my images?
